MARTIN COUNTY — Cleveland Clinic Martin Health is beginning to offer drive-thru coronavirus testing on an appointment-only basis for the community.
The hospital becomes the first on the Treasure Coast to publicly make testing widely available.
The hospital, out of its downtown Stuart location, began offering testing of COVID-19 Saturday for those who meet federal and state criteria.
Martin Medical Center is now called Cleveland Clinic Martin North Hospital
The hospital plans to launch a hotline Sunday to schedule appointments, available to call, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Testing, right now set up in a covered area outside of the Stuart hospital, will also be during the daytime. People can drive up and limit their exposure to others.
By the end of the week, both Cleveland Clinic Martin Health South and Tradition Medical Center are to offer coronavirus testing, as well, hospital officials said Saturday
